The 100th Day of School is coming up on Thursday, February 16. This year, think about some innovative ways to celebrate the 100th day. Here are a few ideas to try out in your classroom:
- Design a bridge using 100 playing cards (or create a bridge that can hold 100 grams).
- Design a tower using 100 toothpicks.
- Build a tower that is at least two feet tall and can hold a small stuffed animal, using 100 index cards and 12 inches of tape.
- Create a poem or a collage using 100 words or images from the web, and use Pic Collage on your iPad to put it together.
- What can you create using:
- 100 linking cubes? 100 pattern blocks? 100 Legos?
- 100 pipe cleaners? 100 straws and twist ties? 100 popsicle sicks?
- 100 cups? 100 domines? 100 paperclips?
