eBooks & Audiobooks Galore

Did you know that the Graland Library has hundreds of eBooks that you and your students can enjoy?  We even have access to multimedia picture books that will read aloud to your students.  Here's how to access them:

First, go to: library.graland.org Then, click "Graland Country Day School" in the middle of the page.  On the bottom right is a list of links labeled "Audio Books and eBooks"

Follett Shelf

Click the "FollettShelf" link to browse books available.  We have a number of books for leisure as well as some to aid instruction.  To check these books out, you will have to create an account.  See a librarian to get your FollettShelf account created.

TumbleBookCloud

TumbleBookCloud is a subscription eBook service the Graland Library subscribes to.  It is appropriate for 3rd - 12th students.  While there is a handful of mature titles, TumbleBookCloud also includes a number of Newberry Books and other titles that are appropriate for Graland Students.

TumbleBookLibrary

TumbleBookLibrary is similar to TumbleBookCloud, but appropriate for students in PreK-4th grade. Tumble Book Library includes lesson plans, puzzles and games, math stories, language learning, etc.  Students particularly enjoy finding a Story Book that will read aloud to them (check out Diary of a Fly to see an example.)

We hope you enjoy these eBook and Audiobook resources and love hearing how you incorporate our resources into your classrooms.  Please let us know of any titles you'd like added to the Graland Library eBook or Audiobook collection.
